Description
  Boat lutes, in the Philippines generally referred to as "kudyapė," can be found on the islands of Mindanao and Palawan. There are about 23 different types of boat lutes played by at least 38 ethnic groups. The video describes these different types that are grouped into categories, according to their structural similarities and cultural affiliations.
  The video was made by Hans Brandeis for a webinar on the teaching of Philippine boat lutes organized by Grace Nono and TAO Foundation.
